Overview

The Kaya Lahakani Project, established by Brightpath Global Foundation, stands as a beacon of empowerment within underprivileged communities, particularly in the Northern sector of Ghana. Launched on March 11, 2023, this flagship initiative is meticulously designed to address the unique needs of young girls, offering them a transformative pathway out of poverty and towards sustainable livelihoods.

Objective

At its core, the Kaya Lahakani Project aims to provide young girls with invaluable vocational skills, breaking the chains of poverty and offering a gateway to economic self-sufficiency.

Key Achievements

The project has achieved significant milestones:

Empowering Young Girls

25 sewing machines, 5 hairdressing machines, and 5 smock weaving machines donated — equipping young girls with practical skills for economic independence.

Entrepreneurship Training

In November 2022, pastry making training was conducted for ten women who received raw materials to kickstart their enterprises.

Sewing Machines

25 sewing machines donated for teaching sewing skills.

Hairdressing Machines

5 hairdressing machines for skills acquisition.

Smock Weaving Machines

5 machines for the traditional craft of smock weaving.

Entrepreneurship Materials
